David Walter comes to us after completing his Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania, where he worked in David Feldser’s lab studying the roles of the Rb and Setd2 tumor suppressors in mouse models of lung adenocarcinoma. He is interested in exploring how uncharacterized recurring mutations in tumors affect tumor progression. As an avid hockey fan, skier, and runner, we think David will enjoy life in New England!
Erica Kim is joining us from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Neuroscience and minor in Health and Society. As a member of Marc Tetel’s lab, Erica studied the role of steroid hormones in reproduction and metabolism. Outside of lab, Erica danced in a hip hop group and was a student mentor on health and wellness. She will be working with Tiki Hayes to characterize EGFR variants in cancer.
Welcome to the lab Jackie, David, and Erica!
